The Makita 8406 hammer drill has a torque limiter and a powerful motor.
It can accept a diamond core bit up to 152mm (5-7/8") diameter. Ideal for making holes in tile, ferroconcrete, marble, brick, etc.
Hire includes one bit and 1mm of wear. Bit usage charged per 1/2mm of wear thereafter. Larger bits have an additional charge, see below.
Most bits are 145mm deep
